Amo te, O Iesu!

Amo te, O Iesu, mi Amor, magis quam meipsum, et ex intimo corde paenitet me quod tibi displicui. Ne sinas me iterum a te separari. Da mihi perpetuum amorem tui, et dein fac de me quidquid tibi placuerit. Quod tibi placitum est, hoc idem mihi est acce...ptum. St. Alphonsus de Ligouri - The Stations of the Cross.

I love Thee, O Jesus, my Beloved, more than myself, and from the most intimate part of my heart I repent that I have displeased Thee. Never again permit me to be separated from Thee. Give to me Thy perpetual love, and then do with me whatever is pleasing to Thee. What is pleasing to Thee, this same is pleasing to me.

By Christ's Wounds We Are Healed

Christ suffered for you,
and left you an example
to have you follow in His footsteps.

He did no wrong;
no deceit was found in His mouth.
When He was insulted,
He returned no insult.

When He was made to suffer,
He did not counter with threats.
Instead, He delivered Himself up
to the One who judges justly.

In His body
He brought your sins to the cross,
so that all of us, dead to sin,
could live in accord with God's will.

By His wounds you were healed.
~ I Peter 2: 21-24
